Prestashop Tag Manager: how and to whom should you entrust bug correction ?

Welcome to the intervention specialist on Prestashop.

How to fix a bug or problem on a Prestashop Tag Manager module ?

If you have installed a Tag Manager module for Prestashop and you encounter a technical problem, Web2007 can assist you and troubleshoot. You should know that in almost all cases, the module works perfectly, the server or php error comes from a conflict with your theme or one of your other installed modules. A troubleshooting expert will first detect errors with Prestashop's debug mode. Here are the tips: To determine if the bug is due to your template, activate the default Prestashop template and then refresh the page. If the bug persists, it means that your model is not at fault. To determine if the bug is caused by one of your modules, disable each module and refresh the page that caused the problem. If the bug appears suddenly, you can start with the modules that were installed most recently. If the bug goes away when you disable a module, that means that module is responsible.

Error 500 Google Tag Manager Prestashop: cases encountered.

I use the Google Tag Manager tool to save time and speed up page load times on my website. However, I'm having trouble integrating the javascript code that Google gave me. No matter where the script is placed, the problem persists. On the site, I only get an error page: "This webpage is not working... Could not process this request via MySiteName. It seems that everything hangs if we look line by line at the code is provided by Google. Smarty cannot interpret the code contained in this way.

Prestashop problem installing Google Tag Manager GTM: cases encountered.

I installed the Google Tag Manager code parts in my header.tpl theme. I made sure to surround the pieces of code with literals so that the first part is in the header, and the second is just after the > in the body. The problem is that the beacon helper does not confirm that GTM has been installed. This means that the Google Analytics tags, which are the only ones available at the moment, are not installed because GTM has not been installed.

Prestashop problem, how to add Google Tag Manager code without module? Cases encountered.

Prestashop version 1.6 is used for my website. I would like to add the Google Tag Manager code. I only found partial solutions or paid modules. Is it possible to add GTM code to Prestashop without having to use a module? GTM must have at least its code snippet embedded in the main section of Prestashop. This is the main problem. Editing the head.tpl file is the way to do this. The location of this file will depend on the theme you're using, so it's a good idea to consider this before proceeding. {After finding the head.tpl file, you need to put the GTM code in it. As a tpl you can't use symbols like "You will need to insert the GTM code into the head.tpl file after you find it. As a tpl you can't use symbols like "" without the "literal" tag (check smarty if that's what you're looking for). Okay, you've loaded TGM onto the site. But it just sits there and stares at you. That's where I've been bumping into for months. I have a side that claims you can do anything you want in TAG MANAGER without having web developers to insert codes somewhere" That's right, because TGM has tons of things you can do (the Custom HTML code lets you write your own Javascript), but the forkflow of creating a consistent data layer for each site, tracking the price, and then taking it from injected TGM, seems very difficult. It's full of errors and it takes a long time to debug.
