Prestashop provides statistics on your online store but these statistics may not be sufficient to understand and evaluate your online activity. You should add Google Analytics to your Prestashop store. Google offers this service, which allows you to create multiple reports and track your online store's activity from many points. It is easy to install Google Analytics on Prestashop. We'll show you how in the next article. To install Google Analytics on Prestashop stores, the first step is to create a Google Analytics account. Prestashop already includes a Google Analytics module, which you can easily install. Here are the steps to install and configure this module. Connect to your Prestashop back-office; . Click on the link on the left panel and click on "modules & services". In the search box that appears, type "Google Analytics" If you don't see "Google Analytics", click on "configure" to bring it up. The tracking number (or tracking ID) must be entered in the "Google Analytics tracking ID" box and saved. The Google Analytics module may not be available in older versions of Prestashop. UA Universal Code will no longer work after June 2023, and Google Analytics 4 will be required. This version however gives you access to a new identifier than the old versions.
