Prestashop sitemap, how and to whom should you entrust bug correction ?

How to fix a bug or problem on a Prestashop Sitemap module ?

If you have purchased a Sitemap module for Prestashop and you encounter a technical problem, Web2007 can assist you and troubleshoot. You should know that in almost all cases, the module works perfectly, the server or php error comes from a conflict with your theme or one of your other installed modules. A troubleshooting expert will first detect errors with Prestashop's debug mode. Here are the tips: To determine if the bug is due to your template, activate the default Prestashop template and then refresh the page. If the bug persists, it means that your model is not at fault. To determine if the bug is caused by one of your modules, disable each module and refresh the page that caused the problem. If the bug appears suddenly, you can start with the modules that were installed most recently. If the bug goes away when you disable a module, that means that module is responsible.

Prestashop 1.7 Sitemap update problem: cases encountered.

I am writing to you because I have a problem that I cannot solve online. To be on Amazon, I have to activate several languages. This means I have multiple sitemaps. But, when I try to update my sitemaps using Google Sitemaps module (4 by Prestashop), there are 2 issues. 1) I get a 524 error page when I run the update with Cloudflare cache enabled. 2) I checked my FTP and the sitemaps were deleted. No new sitemaps appeared. I also have to restart my server in order to access my site. 2) I'm doing the exact same thing, but I've disabled Cloudflare. Every time I try to access my site, I get a 503 error message. However, I can access it fairly quickly without having to restart my server. After looking in my FTP I discovered that some sitemaps are there but not all. They are now available on the internet, or at least Google knows them. It unfortunately indexed some of them..... My idea was to "force Google" to visit my pages by offering sitemaps. In all other languages, I placed the noindex meta tag. Google must crawl them .... to unindex them. Once I de-index all of these pages, I will place a disallow entry in my robots.txt file. I will then deactivate all these languages.

How to solve the problem of the sitemap containing URLs blocked by robot.txt when using Prestashop 1.7.x ?

Before proceeding to the solution steps, it is important to understand the Robots.txt file. Robots.txt, a text file that tells search engines which URLs and content to crawl, is plain text. Search engine crawlers can crawl your website content to index it in search results. You can also tell search engine crawlers to ignore certain parts of your website so that they don't appear on the search results page. Back to Prestshop 1.7.x. When you see errors in Google Search Console, such as "URL blocked or robots.txt" or "URL not on Google: Indexing issues". Refer to the attached screenshot. This error can sometimes occur during an upgrade, migration or any other release. Follow the steps below to avoid this error. Type www.yourdomain.com/robots.txt to check if you have this file or not? These lines should be included in your Robots.txt files. To check your robots, you can use this link. We are going to re-generate the Robots.txt file. Login to your Prestashop admin portal. Scroll down to the "Configure" section, under "Store Settings" and the "Traffic & SEO" sub-menus, and click "Generate Robots.txt file". The URL below will show you how to create a sitemap. Warning: Before making any changes, be sure to back up your data.

Prestashop Products indexing problem: cases encountered.

My indexing problem is that there are very few products indexed compared to the number of products added. For example, I have 80 pages in a category and only 27 are indexed. Is it possible to index and accelerate the majority of my products ?

Error in the absence of a Prestashop sitemap: cases encountered.

I find that I make a lot of mistakes when I do an SEO audit with Semrush. However, I do not have a sitemap! It shows me a 404 error on the URL: www.mysite/sitemap.xml. And a broken link: Page URL = https://monsite.fr/sitemap.xml; Broken link URL = https://www.monsite.fr/sitemap.xml I don't have a sitemap so I don't know where these URLs come from. These errors are not correctable. Semrush should look for this file, as it is the main name for this type of file. A sitemap.xml file can be created. PrestaShop integrates one to several modules to generate sitemaps. PrestaShop does not save it as sitemap.xml. Just create a sitemap.xml and point to the module sitemap file. However, the robots.txt files usually embed this data so the problem is actually semrush unless there isn't what needs to be fixed. Don't expect a 100% error-free automated audit from a commercial company. If you have a sitemap, you may be interested in an automated update. But :)...Without a sitemap, you can't rank! I figured out that sitemaps aren't necessary, so I don't have any. This is also an "error" that Semrush considers as such.

Problem installing Google Sitemap of Prestashop: cases encountered.

This bug is raised on the Google Sitemap module. It cannot be installed. 2 errors. An error occurred while extracting the module. The file could be corrupted. It is impossible to update the Google sitemap module: an error occurred while extracting the previous version. Can you provide us with a real solution? Google Sitemap version 1.7.1.0 is compatible with the latest version. This seems to be the root cause of the problem (I guess from the info you shared). Support tells me to report the bug. It takes us longer to investigate the issue and we are less able to respond quickly to everyone if we don't have all the necessary information. We no longer support PS version 1.6, as the problem seems to be in this version. If the problem occurs on version >1.7, please comment again and contact me. We will reopen the file.

Error 500 on Prestashop Sitemap: cases encountered.

The Prestashop google sitemap module (the free and basic version of Prestashop, the gsitemap folder) gives you a 500 error due to the blog module. This error is generated by all Blog modules. How to make it appear in the sitemap? The blog module can automatically add articles and categories to the sitemap in the latest version, so please check "module-stblog-article" and "module-stblog-category" to exclude it when you generate the sitemap, it can solve the problem. 500 error. What about older versions? What can we do to solve this problem? If you want to include the articles in the sitemap.xml, you will need to modify the sitemap.php file. Can you tell me which version? This is the latest version of gstiemap. However, if your module automatically adds articles to the sitemap, this is not necessary. What can I do to have the sitemap generated at the same time as my blog ?
